Edson Worm gear

Bilge pumps

Manual Edson 1 gallon per stroke (the big one) bronze diaphragm type pump permanently mounted aft near the cockpit (below decks) and designed to be operated from the cockpit.

Manual large capacity Whale pump mounted on a board (designed to be portable) with a long exit hose.


 

Galley

Sink:

Single stainless steel with fresh water hand pump (bronze) and salt water foot pump. Sink drain has a hand operated pump to prevent water coming into boat when she heels.

Cooking Stove:

Force 10  3 burner Propane stove with oven. 3 aluminum propane tanks are located in a vented (overboard) deck box just forward of the deck house. Stove comes with a bronze griddle (“way cool”).


 

Heat

Soapstone wood/coal burning stove is located in the galley area and keeps Alyria warm and dry when needed. Tall stack is great at anchor and stows when sailing.


 

Navigation

Large Mahogany chart table lifts up for stowage of important papers, etc.,. Cabinet outboard of chart table contains:

Hand held GPS (Garman) with bracket.

SSB/Ham radio and tuner

Mounted VHF radio

Hand held VHF radio

2 chart bins with plenty of flat stowage for charts are under chart table.

Chart table has built in electric lights.

Main Compass  Large gimbaled antique compass swung and in excellent shape; easy to read with points, numbers and electric light (red).

Electrical

2 180 Amp hour 6 volt AGM batteries (wired as 1 360 Amp hour 12 volt) with dock charger (mounted) and E-Meter.

Wind Generator  Aerogen (English made) for use at anchor; stows for sailing.

Trolling Generator  Includes propeller and line. English model (I forgot the brand) works great at sea!

Electric lights, interior lights (throughout boat), running lights, compass light (red) and radios are all wired to the electrical system.

Main Saloon has special overhead 2 way (high and low) red and white high efficiency light (red light is great for night sailing). Electrical system also has an adapter to plug in personal CD players, etc.,.

Water Tanks

3 Heavy gauge stainless tanks with baffles totaling 100 gals fresh water. Tanks each have separate valves and can be emptied one at a time or in any combination and are plumbed to galley sink with hand pump. They are located aft where an engine would normally be.


 

Head

The head is hidden under a seat in the forward cabin (to starboard) and is simply a built in bucket (has never spilled since it’s built in and has a sealed lid). It has a wooden toilet seat over the top of the bucket which is hidden by the mahogany bench seat when not in use. It is comfortable to use. The through hull backing blocks for a modern toilet are already installed if a change is desired. There is room for a holding tank in the cabinet outboard of the head.


 

Engine

Custom marine grade aluminum outboard bracket with side mounting gear (located adjacent to cockpit; side mount)

No outboard at present; recently stolen.


 

Miscellaneous

Dodger with awning (sunbrella fabric)

Dingy

Cushions below decks are all high quality foam covered with green sunbrella.

100% Cotton fitted sheets for fwd berth and quarter berths

Lee Cloths on settees (makes them into spare sea berths)

10 ‘ Cedar Lapstrake with oars. Dingy chocks on cabin top for right side up and up side down stowage; bronze cleats for lashing down. Blocks for shipping dingy.
